Mexican Banana Bread
Bread:
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
½ cup butter (melted)
½ cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp cinnamon
Toppings (optional):
bananas
nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.)
chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mash three bananas (the more ripe the bananas are, the more sweeter the bread will be!).
To the bowl, add the eggs, butter, and sugars. Mix until combined.
Add the milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix until everything is well incorporated. The batter may be lumpy.
Pour the batter into a loaf pan and top with desired toppings.
Bake at 355 for 45-50 minutes.
Cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
